Getting Started
Before installing M2R, gather the information below to ensure a smooth setup. Then follow the steps to log in, activate your license, and navigate the dashboard.
Before You Begin
We recommend gathering the following information before beginning the installation and setup process. This information should match your account details with the credit bureau(s) you are reporting to. If you are unsure of any of it, contact the bureau(s) directly before proceeding.
Company Information
- Company Name — The legal name of your company
- Address — Your company's physical street address
- City, State, ZIP — Your company's city, state, and ZIP code
- Phone Number — Your company's main phone number
- Company ID — A unique code (5–20 digits) that you create. This code is registered with your credit bureau account(s) on the first Metro 2® report upload
Bureau Identification Codes
- Equifax ID — Bureau ID/Subscriber Code assigned by Equifax [10 characters]
- Experian ID — VIN/Bureau ID/Subscriber Code assigned by Experian [5 characters]
- TransUnion ID — Bureau ID/Subscriber Code assigned by TransUnion [10 characters]
- Innovis ID — ID number assigned by Innovis [10 characters]
- MicroBilt/PRBC ID — ID number assigned by MicroBilt [10 characters]
Note: At least one bureau ID is required during setup. If you are still waiting on bureau credentials, you can enter TEST temporarily and update it later in Reporting Company Settings.
Company Account Defaults
These defaults pre-fill new account records in M2R and can be changed per account at any time.
- Account Type — Your company's most common account type (e.g., Installment, Revolving)
- Portfolio Type — Your company's most common portfolio type
- Terms Frequency — How often payments are due (Monthly, Weekly, etc.)
- Interest Type — Fixed, Variable, or None. Leave blank if unknown or not applicable
