How do I report my customers credit history to the credit bureaus?

1. Meet the minimum reporting requirements and reporting guidelines.
2. Establishing a Data Furnishers Service Agreement with each Credit Bureau Agency you wish to report to.

5. Manually enter or import your account data.
6. Create the Metro 2 or Rental 1 formatted file required by the credit bureau(s) you are reporting to.
7. Upload the report file e the steps for getting setup for credit reporting.

- Establish a Data Furnisher agreement with each credit bureau you want to report to. See details in step 2 below.
- Meet the minimum reporting guidelines of each credit bureau you are reporting to. See details in step 2 below.
- Purchase M2R software license. Data providers must send data electronically in Metro 2® format which requires Metro2 Sofware for formatting.
- The entire portfolio must be reported every month (e.g., all current, delinquent and charged-off accounts).
- Use of e-OSCAR for managing off cycle updates and consumer disputes. For more information on e-OSCAR, please go to www.e-Oscar.org.
2. Establishing a Data Furnishers Service Agreement with each Credit Bureau Agency you wish to report to.
- Equifax - In order to report your consumer/commercial account data to Equifax, you must meet the minimum requirements above plus:
- Data Furnishers that have fewer than 500 records to report each month may be required to subscribe to Automated Data View, a tool that allows furnisher to review their tradeline as it appears on the Equifax credit report, at a subscription fee of $50.00/month.
- Become an Equifax Data Contributor - Begin the sign-up process by reviewing this information and filling out the form at the bottom of the page.
- TransUnion - In order to report your consumer/commercial account data to TransUnion, you must meet the minimum requirements above plus:
- TransUnion usually requires a minimum of 100 records in order to begin reporting.
- Data Providers should report consumer account updates once per month at the end of a billing cycle for their complete file (accounts in good standing and delinquent accounts).
- Notify TransUnion prior to making any changes to your reporting frequency.
